Volunteer Centre Angus - making it easier for people to volunteer

Volunteer Centre Angus is managed by local volunteers. We aim to ensure that anyone who wants to volunteer is supported and encouraged to do so. We do this by:

  • Providing information and support which helps people to make their own informed choices regarding the type of volunteering that want to do.

  • Supporting people to take the initial steps into volunteering, by arranging visits and informal meetings.

  • Providing training which helps with pre-volunteering skills.

  • Working with organisations to ensure that volunteers get the best possible experience.

  • Being active in recruiting, supporting and matching volunteers in all areas of Angus through local volunteer information points.

  • Developing on-line and up to date volunteer information and opportunities through our website
